"Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #4 - Black and White Photography : Brightness Behind The Darkness"

Hello Philippines!!! I hope we're all doing great despite this trying times that we are facing up to now. This is @hae-ra from Visayas-Cebu. And I would love to partake again with this inspirational topic in #SteemitPhilippines with the Black and White Photography.

Life is full of ups and downs. But we still have to take the challenge whatever it would take and we have to face those challenges whatever the circumstances might lead us.

I just took this picture recently while taking a walk in IT Park, Cebu from meet ups of friends. It was such a very hot day that could burn out the skin. But what I noticed is the brighter day along with the beautiful surroundings. Looking at this black and white picture made me to realization that even though we are facing hardships most of the times, there is still brightness behind the darkness. God gave us a lot of challenges to measure how strong is our capacity to take those challenges, and to measure how strong is our faith towards him.

This pandemic really changes everything. Can you imagine that it seems we could not able to breath freely now because of the new normal that we have to wear facemask and face shields. And this is already a part of our life. But despite what happened today, it still brought us to a lot of good things. It's true that we are sad because of this hardships we encounter, but we have to get through with it whatever happens. And we have to be thankful that we still have a lot of chances to go on with life.

Looking back those older days before pandemic hits, all I could see is the dark smoke from vehicles, that could ruin the environment, but today I think it lessen 10% to 20% at least or more.

While strolling around the park that time, I could see a lot of buildings being constructed 'til now. This means that pandemic can't stop us. Because we still have to work hard and it means that we still have a lot of hopes despite of every bad things happened and might happen.

The black and white picture shows today's sadness, but if we will dig out of it, we can see the light behind those darkness. And if you can see the reality of life, it is just like a game. Win or lose, we have to still believe in the beauty of everything. So, we have to believe that we can make it at the end of the day. What matters most is we don't lose hope, and life must go on. ❤
