Waking up in a beautiful sunrise does not happen to me most of the time. It was such a privileged and truly a blessing to stay in a hotel in Palawan where the sunrise is one of the best they could offer to their guest. Aside from the beautiful sunrise, a gorgeous sunset that kissed the ocean was also one of a kind.

The hotel my husband and I stayed was very far from the high way or I should say 10 to 15 minutes by car to see the main road. It was actually my choice to get a hotel near the beach to satisfy our vacation and to relax for a while. The morning breeze and a beautiful sunrise is what I needed and indeed we were able to get a good deal.

Aside from having a beach side hotel,they also have a swimming pool which I enjoyed as well. It was after we went the underground river when we decided to swim in the pool since high tide was usually in the evening and the resort does not allow swimming until 5pm.

The pool side had the best sunset view. The restaurant was also next to it. With those tall coconut tress around and a white sand view from the ocean was just perfect.

The hotel serves meal as well, Php 250.00 or roughly 21 steem per serving. They also have snacks and drinks to choose from. The cafeteria service was awesome. We brought food from the outside for dinner and yet he offered to heat the food and gave us utensils. They are not strict with bringing of foods from the outside. Oh, their coffee was good! I have learned to love coffee since I became a mother. I think most mothers do love coffee to help us have energy throughout the day. They also have a nice service and very accommodating staffs.

Though there were a lot stray dogs (got me scared a little bit) and plenty of mosquitoes when it's getting dark, still it was a good hotel stay for me.

So whenever you have plans to visit Puerto Princesa Palawan, or any part of Palawan (they have plenty of branches) you can stay at Microtel, its recommendable.
