Strolling in Plaza Independencia! (04.04.23)

I made a promise to my baby twice that when he sleeps in his afternoon nap when he wakes up we will go somewhere to wander. It was Monday, April 3, 2023.

But when he woke up, our plan is cancelled for some reason, it's good that he forgot about it but I'm still guilty because every time I make a promise to him, I keep it.

It's really hard to put my baby to sleep right away since I stopped breastfeeding him. But if you have something to promise him, he will fall asleep right away, especially if he wants that something you will give in return for his sleep.

It took him a while to sleep at night, but on Monday night, his dad and I told him to go to bed early because we were going to go for a walk in the park the next day, so he fell asleep right away.

That's what we notice about him every time we tell him to go to sleep because we're going to wander when he wakes up, he'll fall asleep right away, and we feel sorry for him.

So yesterday he was crying and asking to go to the park because he wants to play there, he felt that he was so bored at home that he couldn't run freely, he didn't see anything new. He said; "Please Mom let's go" I can't even count how many times he said that so my heart was broken because he was begging.

So even though I'm not feeling well, my eyes and head hurt, my body is tired and weak and our money is only one hundred pesos. But because we have a motorcycle and a full tank of gasoline, we can travel even if we only have a hundred pesos in our wallet. We just packed rice, So that we can save and eat more with our money.

Our friend said there is a playground at Plaza Independencia so we went there, 30 minutes drive from our home. And I also remembered that children were playing there with slides, and so on a long time ago, so we went there.

But when we got there, the gate to the playground was already closed. I thought it might be closed because it was already 6:30 pm. But it wasn't, I think it was closed since the lockdown covid19 coronavirus and until now because there were many broken and the grass was already long. They have not fixed it and reopened it to the public.

We were only there for about an hour because our baby was hungry, he stop playing and said "I'm hungry Mom let's eat", we were supposed to eat at the park but because we only brought rice and we didn't have any dishes, we didn't even buy any dishes before entered the park so we just leave and looked for a food stall to eat before going home.
