The Diary Game | 10.08.2021: Distribution of Modules and Retrieval of Answer Sheet | 20% goes to @steemitphcurator

Greetings, everyone!

Today is the fifth week since the opening of classes! And because it is Friday, it is another day for Module Distribution and Answer Sheets Retrieval for Canduman National High School where I a working.

I am assigned to take pictures of all the school activities of the school and at the same time to do the crowd control. As the documenter, I have to make a report of the activities and the pictures that I will be taking will be used as Mode of Verifications (MOVs). Aside from that, I was also assigned as a crowd control, as one, I have to make sure that there are no people going in groups, to avoid possible contact of the Covid 19.

Now, let me take you how we supervise and manage our distribution of modules and retrieval of answer sheets. This set-up has worked effectively already for many weeks now and for the past year.

Before the parents or the guardians of our students, get inside the school premises, they have to perform health and safety protocols, and of course follow school rules and policies. There are teachers assigned outside the gate to facilitate a smooth flow of this weekly activity.

First, they need to check their temperature outside the gate, so that they cannot get inside the school if their temperature is high. We inform and encourage our parents through Generala nd Homeroom PTA Conferences to just stay at home if they are not feeling well. They can just ask their friends or neighbors to claim the modules and/or submit answer sheets in their place if these problems occur.

We also installed a washing sink outside the school where everybody needs to pass through. We are strictly following this protocol for everybodys safety. The school guards will never let anyone pass through if they do not wash their hands outside.

Also, the guards and the teachers assigned outside the gate will inform the parents to wear their face masks and face shields properly. There are really complaints about some of these guidelines, but if they really wish to go futher, they need to follow.

The visitors and the teachers and staffs also have to follow proper dress code when going to school. We already sent a lot of parents back to their houses for wearing very short skirts, sleeveless shirts, tattered jeans, and revealing clothes. Afterall, they should consider that they are entering a place for education and learning.

After passing those strict guidelines and protocols outside the school, they can now get inside and need to sanitize both hands with an alcohol. They shall also carry a health form that they need to fill out in the school gym.

The school also manage the flow of the people going in and out by having entrance and exit lanes. There are also teachers assigned in these areas to supervise if this is followed. But since this one is already the fifth week, parents have known these rules already and 95 percent of them just follow.

Once they are in the school gym, they will now fill out the health form. They should declare that they are healthy, does not have health concerns and have not contacted people with covid 19 prior to going to the school to claim the modules and submit the answer sheets from the past week.

They will have to present this to the teachers who are assigned to this area. The teachers have to check if the names, date, contact number and other pertinent data for contract tracing is clearly filled out.

After that they will proceed to the designated areas for distribution of moduels and submission of answer sheets. They need to line up properly and wait for their turn to place the envelops (answer sheets) on the chairs and sign the attendance sheets. There are also teachers assigned in this area to facilitate and guide the parents to locate the sections of their students.

After that, they can proceed to the area where they can claim the modules. They have to look for the names of their children inside the box. The teachers prepare these things prior to the distribution day.

After claiming the modules and submitting the answer sheets, the parents should leave immediately the school premises. We have an assigned teacher with a mega phone to say this reminders if there are parents wanting to convine inside the school.

So, that was our school process of module distribution and answer sheet retrieval. And it was how I spent my day today.

Others may not know and acknowledge our efforts and service to the Filipino youth as teachers despite this difficulties in the middle of this crisis and facing this risk, we will still continue our mission.
