This painting is very basic speacially to the beginners who wants to learn to paint. The subject of this painting is the cherry blossom spring tree, some artist called it the natural change on canvas, colors add value to the subject and a pure representation to a seasonal beauty.
Painting Materials
• Illustration board (canvas)
• Masking tape
• water
• Sponge
• Filvert brush, round brush, liner brush, 1" flat brush and pointed brush
• Acrylic Paint -black, titanium white, cobalt blue, lemon yellow, green brilliant red and burnt umber
Start to paint the sky using blue and white and blend it well. very important the soft edge of the sky.
Painting clouds, The blending and shape should be right. I used light thinned color white at the top and blend down.
In this case I paint the tree trunks using black color and folowed the foreground using thicker paint which is the burnt umber.
For the grass I added green and lemon yellow. I use sponge dabbing the cherry bossom tree, using brilliant red and titanium white.
I added here distance and depth of the mountain to look strong sense of reality in a painting.
