Misty Morning Acrylic Painting

Another fun landscape painting I did today. As we can see the misty distance background is lovely because the muted and softer edges of the distance it appear misty and foggy. I’ve enjoyed painting with this scenery because mist adds calm atmosphere. The techniques that I’m showing here can work with acrylic and oil paint.

Painting Materials
• Sketching Paper (canvas)
• Masking tape
• water
• Filvert brush, round brush, liner brush, 1" flat brush, pointed brush and pallette knife
• Acrylic Paint -black, titanium white, cobalt blue, lemon yellow, green brilliant red and burnt umber

Applying distance color using titanium white and small amount of cobalt blue.

In the middleground I started painting the shade or shaddow closer in the scene. I use dark color green and black and small amount of red.

fot the highlights basically for this painting I used lemon yellow, small amount if brilliant green and a touch of white.

for final details using liner or script brush. A liner brush is a very thin brush with very long bristles.
Liner brushes are excellent for fine details in your artwork.
