Steemit Philippines Photography Contest Week #3 I "Family Solidarity"

Warm greetings my co-Filipinos and to all steemian friends!

Filipinos are known of so many good cultures and values. I am glad this contest has brought up so everyone could share and together it would make us proud to be Pinoy.

One of these culture that until now we continue to uphold is "close family ties". Even each member of the family is married already, we never fail to remember and pay visit to our close family members even to our extended family. We stay for each other in good times and sad times. We like to celebrate together, that's is why we really love attending family reunion. We extend help through emotional and financial support without even asking something in return as long as we could show great sympathy. Most of all, we pay great respect to our elders.

This picture shows my entire family when we celebrated "Easter Sunday" this year. We attended mass in an early Sunday and went for swimming. It was my uncle's idea to go to an island here in Cordova, since we live here, we rode actually two boats owned my uncle. My immediate family, my other uncles, aunts, cousins and their children were there during this time. We really like to celebrate together when there is a special occasion like fiesta, Christmas and New Year. We are also blessed we are always united. It was really a joyful day to all of us even of what we are experiencing right now. The smiles on our faces show how much we give value to our family.

We, Filipinos have lots of good values and culture that we inherit. It is an inheritance that cannot be paid but with the essence of true fulfillment. That is probably the reason why we continue to survive at this difficult time. At yan tayo!
