"Sinovac In Our Veins - Got Our Second Dose"
A wonderful day to all steemian friends and to my kababayan! May we are doing fine and firm in facing this difficult times of pandemic.
Sharing you today my activity with my good friend @fabio2614. It is actually a holiday here in our country, Philippines, we commemorate national heroes day, but in spite of that, some of our government employees specially the medical team rendered their time to support the government's advocacy on being vaccinated. Proudly, we are part of this.
At around 10:00 in the morning, me and friend arrived and met at Hoops dome, Lapu-Lapu, the assigned place for our vaccination. We had to attend the long queue inside the place just to get vaccinated. It's good that we ate porridge which is actually given free and brought snacks. After almost four hours of waiting patiently, we already got our second dose. I just feel lucky that I am not alone today, although my friend and I did not register together but luckily we got the same schedule for our first and today, our second dose.
Inside the venue, we underwent series of interview and check-up by the doctor on how we are actually feeling and if we have symptoms or illness that might trigger if ever. After that, we need again to be checked our temperature and blood pressure. Then the vaccination follows but again we waited for few minutes for the last medical check on us.
So that's how I spent today. I immediately went home at 3:00 in the afternoon. I took a rest for a while and ate snacks since I was really hungry. I am so glad that I don't feel so bad today that I can stop by and share what I did today.
I hope everything will go well. Have a blessed day everyone. Thanks for dropping by.
Keep safe!
Truly,
abby0207
