CONTEST NO 8 : MY FAVOURITE FOOD !!🍜🥣🍛🍲🥗🧀🍕

Hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. Take care of yourself and others in this pandemic situation of covid. Today I'm back to be a part of contest #8 organized by #SecretBeauty to tell about "my favorite food".
My favorite food is BIRYANI, it's traditional food of Pakistan. It is famous all over country and its taste and spices varies from area to area but Karachi's biryani is best and famous all over the country.
BIRYANI is most essential part of any event it could be wedding, birthday, get together, festivals or any occasion. It is the main Manue of every event in pakistan. My husband and kids always ready to eat biryani. So I often made biryani at home.
If we consider it's Nutritious value it's a complete diet. Having protein, carbs, oil, many vitamins and minerals from ingredients.
INGREDIENTS

coriander powder | 1tbsp |
termeric powder. | 1/2tsp |
cumin seeds | 1tsp |
black pepper. | 1/2tsp |
cinnamon stick. | 4_5 |
cloves. | 4_5 |
food colour(orange) | 1/4tsp |
saffron. | 1_2pinch |
cardamom | 3_4 |
Yougart | 1cup |
tomatoes. | 200gm |
green chilies. | 8_10 |
coriander leaves | 2tsp chopped |
mint leaves | 2tsp chopped |
potato | 4_5 |
garlic /ginger paste | 2tbsp |
salt | as required |
oil | as required |
PROCEDURE :
STEP 1:
Take 1kg beaf/mutton/Chicken, washed it and cook it until it tenders. I used pressure cooker for this purpose. Take beef meat in cooker add ginger garlic paste, black pepper, cloves cardamom, cinnamon stick and cover its lid then put its weight over lid.Now cook it for 20 minutes.
STEP 2:
After 20 minutes off the flame and remove the weight from lid and allow the Steem to come out, then open the lid of cooker.
Now check either meat has tander or not.
STEP 3:
Take some oil in pan then add this meat and sotey it for some time. Then add garlic ginger paste to it and sotey it for 3_4 minutes.
STEP 4:
Take out all spices according to the recipe or as per your taste. Add these spices in pan and cook it for few minutes. Peel off the potatoes and cut it and add to the pan and cook for some time. Then add some water to it and cook it.
STEP 5:
Add fried onions, tomatoes and green chillies to pan and cook them nicely.
STEP 6:
Add Yougart to it and cook it on high flame to dry its extra water. Now it's done.keep it aside.
STEP 7:
Take rice of high quality, washed them and soak in the water for 15 minutes. Boil water in a large pan add cinnamon stick, cloves, salt, cardamom and cook it when water becomes half boiled then add rice to the pan and cook it until it done upto 3/4. Means rice must b slightly hard.Now strain the rice and keep them aside.
STEP 8:(ASSEMBLING) :
Now add some oil to the pan then place rice over the pan and make a layer of rice. Then put beef curry over rice and make second layer.Add coriander and mint leaves on any layer. Make another layer of rice over curry then cut curry over the rice and making the next layer. Place again rice over it and its last layer.
STEP 9:
Now take 2 pinch orange food colour and dissolve it in saffron essence, it will give very nice colour and amazing aroma to biryani and pour it at different places in rice. Now put oil over rice and cover the lid for 10_15min. Now mixed the layer nicely.
Delicious biryani is ready.
