Participation For SteemIndia Contest : Ideas to make a Community Better and Successful

Greetings Everyone,

As we all know that "Unity is strength" which is most important to build or run a successful community. This contest topic is pretty interesting and grabbed my attention when I was looking for a running contest in steemit. According to contest topic we have to use our original photographs and use tag photography but unfortunately I don't have any photo that goes with the contest theme or topic so I've attached my canva designed photo as the contest entry cover. I hope this will be accepted for this contest. As I'm not adding any original image taken by me so I'm not using photography tag as it irrelevant to my entry or blog for this contest. Hope contest holder will accept my apology on this.

It easy to give other suggestion but difficult to follow. But whoever is expert in team work will surely can run a successful community. So here I'll talk about some point that may help a community to be successful and bring more success for each community members.

Unity:

First of all I think unity is important among community leaders and members. A community should have good team leader who can lead it perfectly. Leading and giving priority of other community members is really very important. Respect each other's decision and finale the decision which will be the best for community and each community members should respect each others and their decision. So without teamwork a community is like a ship without a rudder.

Proper Plan And Selection:

A community should have admin, moderators and other people with some roles. For example a member of community is good at checking the status of it and report it to the admin or moderator so selecting the right person for specific role is really very important for a community. Beside that a community needs to have proper plan to make members more active and interested. For example this is the contest I'm attending is a running contest and many active community members will take part in it and arranging regular contest is really a good thing for an active or running community.

Arranging Meeting And Discussion:

I think most of the steemit community has a discord server or channel to get together for meeting and important discussion and it is really very helpful for running a successful community. Private channel for admins and moderators can help planning new things which can help community grow up. This could be a weekly or monthly discussion.

Be Kind To Community New Comers:

Admins and moderators should be kind to newbies and community authors. If found anything doing wrong as community head we should tell them their mistake with gentle behavior and never underestimate anyone in the community. To hold the good name of community admins and mods should be friendly, kind and helpful to run a successful community. If anyone found spoiling the environment of a community should be ban after giving warnings.

Bring Support For All:

Community leaders should think about the good for all. Bring support for all deserving members and shouldn't do any nepotism or favoritism to particular members of the community which looks really bad and it surely not good for the reputation of a community. Ensure the quality and guide newbies with tutorial links or guidelines. Treat each and every member equally.

Arrange Attractive Events For Community Members:

Sake of enlarging the community bring offers or events in the community. For example, reward steem, steem power or tron for being active in community or inviting more members to join the community. Contest in steemit is also a kind of event but we also can reward most active member who post and comment actively in a week and community leaders will observe the activity and will reward the active member or members.

For now these are my ideas to make a community better and successful. There are lots of effective ways to run a successful community and a community leader can bring innovative and creative ideas to run a successful community for long time and earn good reputation.
