Most gorgeous climate of Shimoga which makes us to never leave a heaven like this

in India Speaks2 years ago

Hey all, Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the rain season. But when it came to the rainy season I really miss the native place called Shimoga and it was heaven. It was a feeling, word can't just tell the exuberance. As I was currently living in the city called Tirupur where more people were occupied and a lot of noise, everywhere humans and I was really tired of it. Just see the below picture and feel the breeze <3.

It starts to rain during mid of June and we can feel the chilliness for more than 3 months and it will help to fill the backwater for the dam which is very near to my home called "Bhadra Dam". And the dam water is helping the irrigation for all the surrounding areas for an entire year. And it was a good tourist spot to visit in Lakkavalli.

Here in the place which I was discussing, we have an equal volume of Muslims, Christians, Hindus, and Jains. and we can able to see many pilgrims and here I attached the sculpture of the ancient ruler of the place and it was mind-blowing and we can frequently see the Hindu temples around here.

Actually, I belong to the Hindu community, once in a year the local temple festival will happen we will go to that festival every year. People from all over the community will join the festival and it shows the strength of unity among themselves during that time amount of crowd was countless and it was good business for the local shop vendors. I think it was a unique thing happening in South India as haven't seen any videos like that happening other than in India.

For the past three years, the festival was not held because of the Covid situation in order to eliminate the crowd as it has a high possibility of spreading the virus. This year is going to happen in big as we expected.

This picture was captured last year during my visit to my native with my bike for the first time. Actually, it was a very long distance and it was not an easy task to ride up to 420 Kilometers without any stoppage. And look at the road condition and it was pure bliss of monsoon rain :)

The major cultivated cash crop was the Areca nut farm as it was profitable cultivation compared to other cultivation and the climate condition is very adaptive for the healthy growth of areca nut. We can see everywhere the areca nut farm with the perfect structure for roadways and gaps between the trees are even.
