Steemit Engagement Challenge S3:W2 - Write a letter to your five-year-old self, telling him/her what you have learned so far by @madilyn02
Dear little me,
There are many things I wish to tell you today which I do not know where to start from. I wish you have written down some questions for me to answer today.
One thing is for sure, I miss you so much. I know you can still stay close to grandma and father, you still lay your head on daddy's laps. And you eat whatever is provided by mum with love and happiness.
Not every dream gets fulfilled in life, not every hope is real. And following the footsteps of others does not always work.
There are many lessons that life teaches us, sometimes experience teaches us lessons and at other times we learn from the mistakes of others.
Life is not always rosy, but the good news for you is that there are also many positive things. In fact, you're in for a treat when you grow older. You'll have the opportunity to widen out and meet amazing friends who will love you as themselves.
You'll also get to experience heartwarming things like having a real hope for the future and meeting a God that loves you. Keep your desire to search for God strong and you will find him, when you do, you will live the happiest moments of your life because he is a happy God.
To be honest with you, to get to the best bits in life, you must have to go through some tough times.
Always stand up for what is right and do not be afraid to express yourself.
I advice that you don't follow what everyone else does so as to feel part of the bunch. Keep being yourself, be the little kind and innocent girl that you are. That is what I've come to learn.
Playing in the rain always gave you some relief, but don't stay there for long for fear you might get sick. You are only five years old and you've got a long way ahead of you, value it!
Many years has already past, up to 13 years have already been spent since then.
I'm all grown up now and close to experiencing adulthood. Though I have the fear of entering adulthood but it's something that must take place.
Don't wish to grow up! Keep being you because Adulthood na scam.
Be of the best behavior till you get here....
Your 18 years old self,
Mary

Childhood is the sweetest time of life because world is immaterial to you at that time.
That's a nice advice because establishing your own identity is mandatory to succeed in life .
Good luck
That is so true, thank you for your visit. Childhood is still the best for me

Thank you so much dear community
Muy buena carta para ese pequeño que vive en un mundo de niños , pero tiene la esperanza de convertirse en alguien muy importante para su vi entorno y el mundo. Saludos y éxitos.
Greetings friend, thank you for your visit and support
Heartfelt warnings and advises passed onto your younger self. I like the way you made young Mary understand the reality of life and how to adapt.
Truly life is not always perfect and sweet, but the good times will always come around. Little Mary would appreciate this words of assurance from older Mary.
Good luck in this challenge!
Hahaha, thank you so much for your beautiful words, I'm sure my younger self will learn from the advice and adjust the way she lives.....🤗
You are welcome friend
Yes, thank you sister. I think going into adulthood is a scary experience but Jehovah is always there for us 😊
