Yesterday morning I woke up at around 5 am and we all got up early and got ready as we were going to Ooty with the family a hill station almost 100 km far from my home town. I also took a bath and dressed in traditional silk saree. Then after everyone got ready we sat in the car, we didn't cook at that time because it was early in the morning, we left to eat at some restaurant outside.

The photo above was taken while we were driving, and we were heading towards the distant, cloud-shrouded mountain ranges. The view of those hills in the morning was very beautiful. After a short distance there was a restaurant, parking was available so we parked there and we all went to the restaurant for breakfast.

The interior of the restaurant was very nice, there was a very beautiful painting of Lord Shiva, after enjoying all that we ordered food, we were served Idli, along with Idli three types of Chutney and Sambar were served in banana leaves. The food was good and tasty and after having the food we continued our journey

The scenery along the way was very beautiful and we took pictures here and there, There were also many monkeys, I was trying to take a picture of a monkey, when the wind blew so hard, my Saree and my hair was blowing in the wind, while a monkey stood up as if posing for a photo, and I took a nice photo of it.

There was a big tree and there were a lot of monkeys jumping on that tree, we took pictures of them and the valley there and then left. Construction work was going on on that road, they were building concrete tailings for landslide areas, we had to drive a little slow in that area, after passing it we saw a very beautiful tea plantation and we took pictures of them too.

Thus we reached Ooty while enjoying the scenery, taking lots of photos along the way, so there are lots of their stories, so I am going to write more photos and their stories in the next diary.
