What is Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting someone else's product or service in order to get a commission for yourself by making their sales. For e.g. Party A is a Health and wellness company that sells high-quality supplements and other fitness products. Party B, who is a fitness trainer or a Coach reaches out to Party A through their Website; with a proposal of showing casing Party A Products in his own blogs. Party B parties agree on the terms of giving a 5% commission to every fitness product sold from Party A Blogs Link. That is what is Affiliate Marketing in easy words.

However, this is not the only way of doing affiliate marketing, there are plenty more ways to do affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing is said to be the easiest way to start earning Passive Income, as you can start even without having any prior knowledge in the Marketing Field.

How to Start Affiliate Marketing

First Find yourself an affiliate program, which suits you the best. for e.g. if you're a learner, get yourself an affiliate course.
(Now, What is an Affiliate course. Let me break down it in a more simple way). Learn with the example-

Prabhjot Singh is a Social Media Manager. he wants to learn more about social media and the ongoing trends and algorithms. So, he buys a course name Social Media Leads Generation from a marketing company XYZ which is a premium Lead Generation Course. This course is an affiliate course

Now, what Prabhjot Singh will do is; he will first learn from the course and then he will find people like him, who want to generate passive income and grow their business through different channels (Linkedin, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)

He will make content on Social Media or catch his email list or maybe he will blog on his site. so, that others get to know about the course. he will explain, what he learns or how the course is helpful. so that he can convert his prospect into a buying customer.

Once, someone purchased the same course from Prabhjots affiliate link. He will earn some commission. Easy peasy. Isn't it. Because starting your own business or building a product from scratch is not an easy job.
