Hello friends, how are we all doing today? Hope great. I am happy to be engaging in the engagement challenge of this community. It is entitledWhat different animals can teach humans.

We coexist with animals here on earth. Animals are very important in the ecosystem of the earth, thus helping to sustain life here. Apart from their contribution in sustaining life, we also have a lot by observing them.

Infact, most of the inventions and discoveries which humans pride themselves of, they copied from the animals.

This fact makes this topic quite interesting and captivating.

Thus follow along as we explore some animals and what we can learn from them..

The Lion is one of the big land animals. Infact it is regarded as the king of the jungle or wildlife. The Lion is known for its courage irrespective of the enemy it faces at any point in time. A pride of lion can take down an animal 3 times their size. This requires extreme courage even though they know that the attacked animal is stronger.

However, with precise and timely strike, it is enough to kill the prey.

The Lion teaches me to be strong and courageous irrespective of challenges that might come my way. It also teaches me to be resilient in the face of adversity.

This is one of the smallest birds that live on earth, which many consider as a militating factor against it.
However, the bird uses such small size to its advantage. They are the only birds that can fly upwards, downwards, sideways, upside down if necessary.

Humans design of hover helicopters, and fighter jets with the ability to change to any direction without reducing speed was taken from the humming bird. Additionally stealth jet fighters design also came from observing the humming birds.

These birds are also known to be aggressive especially when a larger prey invades their territory. They take their stand and fight of the invader despite their small size, taking advantage of their speed and mobility.

Thus we can learn to stand for our cause whenever it is called for. No need to back away from doing what is right due to morbid fear.

The Ants can be said to be among the very small living things that we have on earth. Despite that it well known by everyone since it compliments its size with its numbers.

The Ants are among the most highly organized living things on earth. Despite their large numbers they never have road blocks or traffick jam as they carry our their activities. Each ant belongs to a group, either as a soldier, food hunter or nest hunter. They move in such way that marvels humans.

Humans learnt their design of road traffic round about from the itineries of the ant. They studied how efficient they were and replicated that in road construction.

The Ants are also known for being industrious. They work hard during dry season storing up enough food under the ground which they will consume during the rainy season. No wonder the Holy book say that the lazy man should learn industriousness from the ants, how they work hard.

Thus we also learn to be hardworking from the ant, never being lazy, since laziness will only bring about hunger and poverty.

These are another small animals from which great lessons can be learnt from. Since they are ensnared by predators like snakes. Jackals, environmental hazards like flash floods, dust storms, they must maintain a high sense of alert. This requires excellent and strong team communication amongst them if they are to survive. They are experts in sharing information with each through customized sounds made by them, sniff the winds, scan their territory, giving out danger signal to ensure they are all safe.

We can learn the importance of bonding and excellent communication amongst us as human from them. Most of the wars that leads to killing of so many millions are as a result of lack of love for each other and self centeredness.

So when we are interested in the safety and well-being of each other, we would not allow matters to degenerate to the level of losing human lives.

Like I said earlier, most of the inventions or discoveries comes through learning from animals. If I continue listing them, there will be no end to it.

A little more devotion to the study of animals can bring more satisfaction to our lives.
