2. My Cooking skill
Masala dosa recipe

On hearing the name of Masala Dosa, most people's mouth starts watering. By the way, dosa is made in many ways. Many people also like plain dosa, but the matter of masala dosa is different. You will easily find Masala Dosa as a street food in every city. This time I am going to tell you the recipe of South Indian Style Masala Dosa. Along with masala dosa, you can also prepare sambar and coconut chutney at home. Eating with them will double the taste of Masala Dosa.

so let's start to make masala dosa.

Ingredients for Dosa

Rice - 3 cups
Washed urad dal - 1 cup
Baking Soda - 3/4 tsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste

Ingredients for Dosa masala

potato
onion
Oil
Cumin
Curry leaves
Turmeric
chilli powder
coriander powder
Coriander
salt

How to prepare Masala Dosa

To prepare Masala Dosa, first take urad dal and rice. Wash them well and keep them soaked overnight. Clean a little fenugreek and soak it overnight. Now drain all the water from the soaked dal and grind the urad dal with fenugreek. Then take it out in a big vessel and keep it. Grind the rice separately as well. Use less water while grinding.

Now mix both and prepare a thick mixture. Now to ferment this mix, add baking soda, salt to it and keep it in a warm place. Keep it for 12 to 14 hours. This will make the fermented mix double as compared to before. Now this mix is ready to make dosa.

Now boil the potatoes for the dosa masala and then peel it and mash it after it cools down. Now to make potato masala, heat oil in a pan, then add cumin and curry leaves to it. Now put a little raw urad dal in it. Now put the chopped onion in it. Let the onion cook a little. After the onion turns a little brown, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder to it. Fry it for about a minute. Add mashed potatoes and salt to this spice, mix it well and then fry for 2 minutes and add green coriander. Now the masala for your dosa is also ready.

Now to make dosa, first take a nonstick griddle. After that put some oil in it. Put the dosa mix in the center of the pan on medium heat and spread it in the shape of a dosa. When it becomes slightly crisp, fill the spice in the middle and close it. In this way your Masala Dosa is ready. You can serve it with coconut chutney and sambar.
