Birding / Wildlife - Birds of Pakistan

Birding is my hobby and I am always ready to travel distant areas to observe birds. Recently I visited Kallar Kahar, Lake in Chakwal district. I travelled around 300 Km to reach this place. This lake is situated near Motorway 2 so access is very easy. This lake is favorite place of birds and I found some amazing and diverse species of birds there. On this lake I saw many birds forging around lake. I saw a Stonechat flying near me. This bird was very brave and was not shy of my presence. Then I saw a flock of Prinia forging on ground.

I also saw a Roller sitting on an electricity pole. They are mostly found near cultivated land and in the field Purple Swamphen was forging. Usually I saw them in water searching for food. I also saw a White-throated kingfisher sitting on a branch waiting for right moment to catch some prey.
