SEC-S13 / W5 | "How can alcohol cause damage to your health! 🍺" by @yahnel
Hello friends, I am starting from scratch again, but as someone once told me it doesn't matter if you fall down but get up and here I am participating in this initiative that I find very interesting with health you can go very far this issue of alcohol affects many people physically and emotionally and can damage entire families.
Alcohol has become the center of many people's lives, some say they only drink once a day, others say they only drink at meetings, or the last thing I heard from a co-worker who said he was just a social drinker was his way of justifying the way he consumes alcohol. He told us that it is the only way he can relax but that he is not an alcoholic, and alcoholism is not a problem that can be seen with the naked eye and often the alcoholic is always in denial about his emotional problems, so it is difficult to help, but not impossible.
We all have different ideas of what an alcoholic person means For me a person is a person who consumes alcohol continuously and once they start consuming alcohol they can't control themselves and lose consciousness, my older brother was dependent on alcohol even though he led a normal life he always had alcoholic drinks in his car when he came home after work it was normal to be drunk this affected my sister in law very much because alcohol not only damages her life in every way but it affects the relationships of the whole family, the one who depends on alcohol is blinded they refuse to accept that they are codependent submerged in a life of frustration.
Alcohol is an addiction that affects the nervous system affecting the brain in many cases you lose the ability to think is a stimulant I do not consider it a drug because to affect the nervous system and behavior intake must be high and continuous unlike drugs that cause emotional changes in the person almost immediately alcohol can be consumed freely without restrictions drugs do not however I think that precisely the problem exists at the freedom to consume alcohol depends on each person the amount of consumption and usually alcoholics never accept that they are.
If we take into account that the disease is a disorder or malfunction of some part of the body that presents certain symptoms if we start from this reasoning alcoholism does not fit into the physical diseases however alcoholism has its anchor in the emotional illnesses and spiritual voids definitely alcohol will trigger various diseases in the body to loss of consciousness can be said that then if it is a disease that requires a lot of help and willpower to achieve it, I have a friend who was an alcoholic, he was about to lose his family until he took the first step, he accepted that he had an alcohol problem and needed help, his wife is a Christian, she took him to church and he has been clean of alcohol for several years.
Not everyone who consumes alcoholic beverages can be said to be a sick western alcoholic, there are people who only do it in some social gathering to share simply in a moderate way their intake is controlled unlike the one who consumes continuously the difference is in this word if you consume continuously ets alcoholic otherwise you can not be categorized as a drinker.
This is my participation in the SEC-S13 / W5 challenge | "How can alcohol harm your health! 🍺" Proposed by @hive-168205, any suggestions let me know as I'm starting from scratch I'm a bit lost on rules, blessings 💚.

Your insightful reflection on alcoholism sheds light on a pervasive issue. It's crucial to recognize the impact on individuals and families. Identifying alcoholism goes beyond visible signs; denial often complicates intervention. Your personal connection adds depth, emphasizing the emotional toll. Acknowledging alcoholism as a disease rooted in emotional struggles highlights the need for support and willpower. Sharing stories of recovery, like your friend's, offers hope and encouragement. Your participation in the challenge is a commendable step, and your perspective contributes significantly to the discourse. 🌟👏
Greetings friend, alcoholism can be overcome as long as the person accepts that he/she is an alcoholic and needs help plus the support of the family and a lot of faith, just as my friend managed to overcome his addiction to alcohol, thanks for commenting, blessings.

Hello @yahnel
Hearing about your brother and how he lived with alcohol is really painful, I deed alcohol controls it's victim and also makes them addicted to it so that they can't do a thing without it. Success in the challenge my dear friend.
