Hygiene is simply the act of keeping our bodies and surroundings clean. That means starting from our hair down to the toe has to be kept clean in other to prevent ourselves from diseases.

Hygiene is very important because, if we don't maintain proper hygiene we will provide ourselves with diseases. And lack of hygiene can bring about body odour which we all know is bad

Regular hand washing i important and it helps a lot when it comes to preventing illness, the reason is the hand is being used to touch and do many things at the same time we might touch some things that are not clean and those things carry many diseases.

So washing of hands helps a lot in preventing illness, like after using the toilet one has to wash the hands. also after doing some chores because many things we touch have germs that we can't see. Although we will think that those things we touch are clean they are not. so washing hand help prevent illness.

The importance of keeping our surroundings clean is to prevent illness and diseases. Moreover, cleanliness is next to Godliness by sweeping and keeping our entire body clean we can prevent illness. and ensure that we are healthy.
