Greetings esteemed steemians, it's a great honour to be a part of this engagement challenge. Alcohol as a whole is a drink which contains some intoxicating agents in it. This drink is served in public occasions and also in one's private life. In Nigeria, an occasion isn't completely without serving alcohol of any brands to your guests. In old and recent days, it is viewed that some people do drink this alcohol to stupor. The question is Why will they drink to stupor even with the warning?. Let's answer it together with the aid of this article.
When can we say that a person is alcoholic? |

A person can be referred to as an alcoholic if he/she neglects the rules behind the consumption of alcohol. An alcoholic drink is said to a kind of drink that encourages people to be on limit. For example, an individual's ability is to drink one bottle of alcohol example Vodka. But if he/she wants to go beyond the limit by taking two or three bottles, he/she will end up in a stupor stage. After that day, an urge will come such that he/she will wants to take alcohol again. When it occurs regularly without the individual controlling it, then the person can be termed An Alcoholic.

Imagine someone who was sad before taking alcohol. All of the sudden, he became happy and super excited, then it is said that alcohol act as a medium of depressing his pain bring unusual happiness. But, this drug can affect the Peripheral Nervous System (PNS) badly.

On my point of view, I can't consider Alcoholism as a disease rather I call it an addiction. Alcoholism is not slated on the list of disease around the world. Alcoholism is the situation that occurs when an individual can't control his/her urge for alcohol. When this frequent urge show up, the individual has no other option than to fall for the tingling of the urge for alcohol. This sequence is not a sickness either genetically or biologically. Rather, it is a habit which eventually advanced to addiction. To control alcoholism is not an easy task. The only way I strongly recommend is Self-control. With self-control, one can control the urges no matter how strong it may.

I will say that not all drinkers are alcoholic. The based fact is some categories of people have a control pattern on the use of alcohol. Despite it's tempting nature, they don't take more than what their bodies cannot carry.

Your opinion is important when you mention that a person is considered an alcoholic when they exceed the use of alcohol and can no longer control the liquor.
Alcohol is a depressive, degenerative and very addictive agent, but it also makes people sick with the proper functioning of their organs, including the liver, kidneys and brain neurons.
Not everyone is an alcoholic if they drink rum once, twice a month or occasionally, cough depends on how often we drink Alcohol (liquor).
The best help for a highly alcoholic person is to take them to rehabilitation or remove them from alcohol or drinking groups, and also motivate them to do more positive activities.
