Welcome to my blog...I am very happy for the opportunity to publish a post here ,as it is my first time posting in this community. Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance to everyone reading this.

I sincerely render my profound gratitude to the Healthy Steem community for creating this contest. I know that it will go a long way in creating awareness about the benefits of practicing a healthy lifestyle and aslo the dangers of an unhealthy lifestyle.

INTRODUCTION

In today's world, many people do not pay attention to their habits on a daily basis. They're ignorant of the fact that bad habits, no matter how little it is, affects their health.
There's a popular saying that health is wealth. If any one should be inflicted with any chronic desease, he or she would spend a lot of money in order to sustain his or her life.

In this article, I'll make sure that I touch every question and also give clear explanations of how important it is to practice healthy habits. Habit is what a person does repeatedly even without being concious of it.

WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU DO DAILY THAT MAKE YOU FEEL HEALTHY AND STRONG?

  • Staying hydrated

I make sure I drink enough water on a daily basis. Water is capable of regulating a person's body temperature and floshing out toxic substances from the human system. Each time I take a glass of water, I feel more refreshed and alive.

Remember to take a glass of water first thing in the morning before any other thing gets into your mouth.

  • Early morning exercise

Going out for a long walk and doing some other simple exercise in the morning makes a person feel agile throughout the whole day.
Exercise helps to open up the sweat pores on the skin , thereby enabling waste material to leave the body through the skin.

  • Regulating my screen time

I'm always mindful of the amount of time I spend with my phone and TV, to avoid straining my eyes. A person who does not consider this would probably develop eye illness in the near future. I can bost of good eye sight because of little habits like this.

  • Getting enough sleep

I create enough time to take a break from work and study for myself.
They say work without play, then I add rest,makes Jack a dull boy.If you don't get enough rest, you tend to be tired and ineffective in anything you're set to do. In other to be efficient, you have to take some time off, get some good sleep. And when you're awake,your body would feel more energized.

  • Drinking Too Much

People who take too much of drink with alcoholic content are more likely to develop kidney problems, liver disease, heart problems, bone damage, cancers, etc. There are many reasons to quit drinking but there's no one reason to start taking alcoholic substances at all.

  • Inadequate Sleep

If you don’t get enough sleep at night, you'll be acting very dull during the daytime.You also could be more likely to have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes,etc. People who don't get enough sleep are slow learners, as they are prone to forgetting most of the things they are being taught. Set a regular sleep routine and stick to it. And do your best to get 7-8 hours of sleep everyday.

  • Surfing Before Sleep At Night

The blue light released by electronic gadgets like TVs, phone,etc impedes the release of hormones that makes you sleep. To much of this light can lead to numerous eye defects. Calm yourself before bedtime. If you want to study, it is best that you open up a book.

I recall when I started drinking water after every 15 minutes. At first, I couldn't be consistent. But as time went on, I was able to accomplish it .
In the previous years before I started it, I usually fall sick three to four times each year. But since I started drinking lots of water everyday, I do not fall sick more often like before.
Drinking lots of water is very essential for a heathy life.

They were too many incidents of stomachache in just a week for me. And poeple would complain that I was eating too much sugar.
I felt really bad each time I had this issues. So, I had to stop and watch the amount of my sugar intake. About 7 teaspoon of added Sugar is recommended for a person in a day. But I really had to reduce mine. And now, I feel much better. No stomach ache🤣🤣

CONCLUSION

Health is the greatest gift to a person. And should be maintained if He or She wants to live happily. Constantly doing things that affects your health,does not mean well for you. If you must live long, then you must live right. Avoid unhealthy habits. Stick to the healthy ones and watch yourself become a better person.
