There are many types arthritis which if counted can numbered more than 100 and each of then has it own characteristics and impacts. Below are some types of arthritis common to us.

  1. Osteoarthritis
  2. Rheumatoid Arthritis
  3. Psoriatic Arthritis
  4. Gout
  5. Lupus

Arthritis also have impact on the patients social life by causing isolation for them straining their relationships, and other work-related challenges.

Exercise improves movement in the joint and flexibilities.
Exercise strengthens the muscles and reducies the stress in the joints.
Exercises enhances and balance and thereby reduces the risk of falling.

Eating a balance diet and other healthy food can reduce arrthritis and weight that pressurise the joints.
Food that contains omega 3 fatty acids found in some fishes and nuts are great way of reducing arthritis.

Regular intake of vitamins C and E, can protect the joints from damage.

Arthritis affect the patient's daily life in many ways;

  1. They reduce joint mobility and pain associated with it can make everyday activities like walking, dressing, and other activities so challenging.

  2. It can make a person become depenndent on others because it can limit a person's ability to perform daily tasks.

  3. The pains and fatigue that arthritis causes can lead to social isolation and reduce participations and relationships.

  4. The pains that arrthritis causes can disturb sleep and exacerbating.

  5. Arthritis can cause low self esteem and contibrute to depression.

  6. It can lead to poor nutrition because the pains can make preparing and cooking of meals difficult for the patients.

What misconceptions about arthritis do you think are important to address?

In the world today there are so many misconceptiions about arthritis and below are some of such that are common to us.

Misconceptions

  1. Arthritis is only old people's sickness and diseases.

  2. Arthritis are just normal in old age.

  3. People who suffer from arthritis are weak and shouldn't exercise.

  4. Arthritis is all about pains in the joint especially legs.

  5. Nothing can be done about arthritis, once it happens it for life time.

Conclusion

Arthritis affect mollions of people in the world today and as most of us know, it can limit movement, work effectiveness, disturb sleep and so on, it does not guarantee disability or reduce the quality of life. A person suffering from arthritis can still get the most of life enjoyment through proper management and awareness.
A good and balanced diet is important as well as gentle exercise and good lifestyle.
It is important to modified our lifestyle, take appropriate treatment to manage the symptoms and do away with misconceptions and face realities.

It's nice seeing you discuss broadly about the topic of our health "Arthritis". It is a very interesting topic and I can see that is truly worth of your participation. Well arthritis is one of the most common types of illness that is all about the bone and it joints. There are different types of arthritis and as you have done, you mentioned a good example of them.

There are millions of people in the world that are suffering from arthritis and does not know that it does have wag to be cared for and handled because of lack of healthcare. Although, it is important for us to help anyone's we know with arthritis with the possible care.
