Hello everyone!How are you all? I Hope you all are well.Every contest this week is awesome.So today I'm back to participate in this wonderful contest hosted by the Healthy Steem community.The name of this challenge is Health Matters (06); Blood Groups.So I will discuss this topic in detail.So let's get started, stay with me.

What are the main blood types and how do we know which one we have?

First I am going to present here based on the four blood groups. Generally ie, A,B,AB,O Here again each group is divided into two parts. I must mention below
We know that there are eight types of blood in the human body.

Each group is again divided into two types: + and -.

O+

O-

A+

A-

B+

B-

AB+

AB-

These blood cells are formed based on each group and each human cell component. So I would like to say that different types of blood groups help fulfill different needs of different body.

That is, group AB is called a universal recipient because a person with the group can accept blood of any group. I would also like to say that the discoverer of blood is: Karl Land Steiner discovered the blood group.

Why is it important to know our blood type?

Of course I will try to answer this question briefly. If I am in any accident and danger or any patient may suffer due to anemia. Or if I want to say firstly in case of any sick person suffering from any disease you have to do blood test first. Because any type of virus that can be added to the blood should be treated in the right place.

Of course, it is very important to know the blood group of all of us and one should consult a doctor for this blood group test. Especially when you are sick in any condition that requires a lot of blood, if you have a blood test, any person can give you blood just by saying your name.

If you don't know your blood type, how can you donate blood to others or yourself? Always remember that a letter from any medical hospital where you get your blood tested also mentions the correct blood group.

How do blood types affect our health and why do they matter in medical treatments?

If you notice I said earlier that there are 4 types of blood. So the doctor advises that there are different types of blood groups and in different people. So here I am classifying the four i.e. A, B, AB and O blood based on presence of antigens. Each blood group has its own characteristics developed within it and the blood is there to influence the health of the individual. Each group has different blood components and fulfills different needs in the body.

Here are a few blood types: Based on the presence and absence of blood antibodies, inherited antigenic substances on the red blood cell surface. Depending on the blood group system, these antigens can be proteins, carbohydrates, glycoproteins. Some of these antibodies are present on the surface of other types of cells in various tissues. This blood group is also associated with various diseases in the body of different types of people, diabetic, cancer, asthma, breathing problems, more necessary mixing with certain retention groups.

Why are some people considered to be universal blood donors while others can receive blood from only a few?

I am writing here as a table as necessary to explain to you. So here I can do blood mixing and exchange blood with whom.
Blood group:

B+ =	B+	AB+	B+	B-	O+	O-
B- =	B+	B-	AB+	AB-	B-	O-
O+=	A+	B+	AB+	O+	O+	O-
O-=	ALL GROUP	O-

O negative blood in particular is the type with the lowest risk of causing serious complications for most people. This negative blood is commonly available and can be transfused into the population through blood transfusions from any accident. Hence this O negative is called universal blood donor type.
