Greetings to all steemains!!!

I hope you all are good and enjoying your lives. Today I'm here to be a part of this amazing contest Steemit Engagement Challenge / S11W4- "The experience of surgery or injury by accident". Alhumdulilah I have experienced surgery only once in my life that I'm here going to share. Good health is most precious thing that Allah blessed us so we should care of ourselves and of our family's.
Let's start today's topic

🩹Tell us what surgery have you or a family member or friends performed and why?

Last year in July I had minor surgery experience. In my arm a cyst overgrown after 1.5 years it's became purple in color and size equal to a walnut. As I was ignoring it since 1.5 years I discussed it with my friend she is a doctor. She suggested as it's near armpit so it could be dangerous to you, without waisting any time visit to this surgeon.

Next day I book my appointment to that particular surgeon and I got appointment after 3days. When I visited the surgeon, first he took all history of that cyst and suggested surgery as soon as possible. He said "first step is removal of cyst and next step will be it's examination and if find some thing wrong then your medication will start accordingly".

I was very upset after visiting the doctor, not for surgery but for further procedures if they find something wrong. Two days before surgery was mentally very hard for me. I was just thinking about biopsy than mammography etc. I cried almost all time before surgery. On the day of surgery I went hospital only with my husband. I didn't inform anyone from my family.

My surgery was minor so after 2hrs of surgery I was discharged from the hospital. My husband sent my removed body part for further examination, for biopsy. After one day of surgery the pain in stitches increased I informed my mother to help me and my family. He was very angry on me.

She stayed with me for 5 days until I became much better. It took me two weeks to feel normal again. But still I can't work properly due to stitches in arm near armpit. After 12 days, I got a biopsy report. I thank Allah; it was clear. No cancerous cells were diagnosed.

I mentally relaxed after that report, and my arm recovered in one month. This is my experience, which had not only a physical effect on me but a mental one too.

🩹 Do you consider surgery the solution to a health problem?
Sometimes meditation can cure health issues if someone is afraid of surgery, is underage or overage, or may have some other health issues. It can suggest to a doctor which is a better solution for a patient.

There are still many diseases that can only be cured by surgery. In these cases, doctors always go to surgery.

Sometimes patients reach out to the doctor in situations where they have to undergo surgery, but if they visit the doctor early, it could be treated with medication.

🩹 Have you or a family member or friends suffered an accident that required sutures? Tell us how was it?

My brother experienced an accident 16 years ago in which his leg was broken. It was a very hard day for us. His surgery was going to happen, but a senior doctor before surgery tried to fix it, and he successfully fixed it. First, they plastered the leg for one week to check that it was perfectly joined with the other part. Then, after the X-ray, they plastered his leg for 6–8 weeks.
It was a very hard time for all of us, especially for my brother and my mom. During the plaster, his legs skin irritated badly, which was an additional pain for him beside the breakage of leg pain. Almost two months without legs and depending on others is not an easy task.

May Allah protect everyone from this bad situation in life, in which not only patients but the whole family suffer.

🩹When these events exist, which health center do you go to, or simply go to the home remedies, tell us which one you go to!

Alhumdulilah I know how to give first aid. So in majority small incidents I do first aid at home. If something went wrong I go to hospital and recommend others too.

If a kid fell down and he bleeds first I check it if it's deep than without waisting my time I go to hospital but if it's not deeper I clean the cut and bandage it myself. I have many pills for different kind of emergencies like fever, pains, vomiting, motion etc so I self medicate myself and my family in normal condition.

In the end of the post I would like to invite @aaliarubab, @drhira and @abdullahw2 for the contest.

I am glad you made a move on the cyst before it became dire. Most people take such things for granted and suffer for it.
I also know how it feels waiting on a family member that is sick. It takes a lot of energy to convince them in staying positive even when you feel like bursting in tears. Thank God you scaled through these unscathed.

Very sad to hear about your surgery and about your brother's broken leg. Sometimes the surgery remains the only solution to a problem And we have to do it even if we don't want to.
By the way thank you so much Mam for mentioning me in your post.
Blessings and good luck
