HI @helengutier2, I join your opinion and agree there are a lot of situations that can take place during a birth both at home and in hospital. The only difference when it is at home then it is lost of time if you need urgently life saving measurements for either baby or mother and it is a great risk, that is possible to avoid. My preference is also hospital birth to home one. It was enjoyable to read your post :)
