Thank you Sir @khursheedanwar for organizing such a beautiful event.

What you know about hepatitis?

Hepatitis is a viral disease. It is an infection and inflammation of the liver. There are generally 5 types of hepatitis. Like hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E and many people die from these diseases every year.

Hepatitis A and E are not life-threatening. But among them hepatitis B is fatal, it leads to death. However, there is a hepatitis vaccine.

Have you seen a hepatitis patient ever in your surroundings?

Yes, I have seen hepatitis patients. He was our neighbor's son-in-law. The man was a Hindu and it was about 15 years ago. He was suffering from hepatitis B. But their financial condition was bad so they could not fix his treatment. He was dark in appearance and his complexion was less yellow, but his eyes were very yellow.

I remember a Kaviraj came to bathe him and after washing his hands and feet the water turned yellow. This hepatitis B destroyed his liver. But he could not survive for long. After some time he died. He had a one-and-a-half-year-old son at home.

I found that this one patient was infected with hepatitis B.

Is hepatitis curable?

Hepatitis is a viral disease. This disease can be divided into 2 types, acute hepatitis which lasts up to 6 months and can be cured with medicine, and chronic hepatitis which lasts for more than 6 months and is called chronic hepatitis. Chronic hepatitis usually doesn't get better easily, when it spreads to the liver it destroys the liver.

Treatment of hepatitis is expensive. However, while acute hepatitis A and B are treated with antiviral drugs, antiviral drugs are avoided in chronic hepatitis C because there is currently no cure for the disease. A liver transplant can be done if possible.

I would like to invite my friends @remlaps2 @joynalabedin and @moonmoon55 to take part in the contest.

Best Regards, @sojib1996
