Ancient methods were used by ancestors. That were time when technology was not discovered. But everyone would get cured and nobody dies due to disorders. Doctors of pre era 's are called Veead. They were knowledgeable and capable enough to cure any problem. They had knowledge of science but in their own way and native language. The main difference I think was of facilities.
