Your general health is greatly impacted by the foods you choose to eat. The improvement or deterioration of our health depends in large part on the choice of food intake. Foods with potent therapeutic and defensive properties exist, however, some foods may exacerbate long-term health issues.

The mentioned below foods can be viewed as a powerful medicine for the body.

Vegetables

Vegetables are high in nutrients and low in calories, so most health experts advise consuming them every day. It is widely accepted in science that one of the greatest ways to obtain nutrients from food, even at a young age, is to eat a balanced diet that rotates between various types of vegetables.

Healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and protein can all be found in nuts and seeds. A good source of protein is almonds. Frequent almond eating has been shown to lower the risk of several cancers. For kids, it is an important source of brain fuel.

Yes, it is very important for schools to teach their students about how food can be like medicine for our bodies. They must learn early on what to eat and what to avoid to build a better life full of the right nutrients so they can think more clearly, run faster, and behave better, and the list of health benefits is endless. Food is fuel for their bodies. Through school food education, the students learn how to reduce their risk of certain diseases through the intake of powerful food.
