I am also fine by the grace of Allah.Today, I will participate in the new contest from Healthy Steem brought by the honorable Moderator @sahmie. We have to face many accidents in our way of life. Various injuries are caused and need urgent treatment. In my opinion, we need to have basic knowledge about the use of a first aid kit before treating wounds, then when I go to treat wounds, I have I need to disinfect my hands, for this, I can use soap, antiseptic, or Hexasol. After disinfecting myself, I will start treating the injured person. For this, I will wash the injured person's wound area with clean water or Hexasol or antiseptic cream to prevent infection.

Cleaning the wound before applying medicine or bandage is the first step of treatment. If this step is not done properly, there is a possibility of infection. So what we have to do before applying bandage is: -

• Hands should be washed thoroughly and disinfected.
• We can use medicated gauze to stop the bleeding from the injured person's wound.
• Usually, there may be debris in the damaged area. Therefore, before starting the treatment, the area should be cleaned and disinfected and then bandaged.
• Before bandaging the wound, if any antiseptic or pain-relieving medicine is needed, then the treatment should be started with it.
• The wound should be well-dried and bandaged if there is a possibility of infection.

• It is important to keep the wound moist during the early stages of treatment. Wounds dry faster in a moist environment. A moist environment promotes the rapid growth of cells,
• In a humid environment, the injured person feels less pain, the body burns less.
• The wound dries up quickly. For this reason, we see that the time between hot and cold is usually chosen for circumcising children.

The wound should be treated with care, otherwise various infections may occur. The signs that we can see if there is an infection are: -

• If the area around the wound becomes excessively red, it can be understood that there is an infection.
• Swelling around the wound.
• An increase in the amount of pain in the wound,
• Pus or blood coming out of the wound or a bad smell.
• Constant or intermittent fever.
  By seeing these signs, we can understand that the wound is getting infected.
  If the wound becomes infected or is suspected to be infected, we need to take several steps. They are:-
• The bandage should be changed urgently to prevent wound infection.
• Clean the wound with clean water.
• Antiseptic medicine should be applied.
• Care should be taken to avoid accumulation of pus or blood in the wound.
• If necessary, consult a doctor.

Many wounds can be treated at home but one should have proper knowledge about the treatment. The wounds that can be treated at home are:-

• Shallow wounds can be treated at home.
• Wounds that stop bleeding quickly can be treated at home.
• The area of the wound is small, and the amount of the wound is not high, it can be treated at home.

If some wounds are not possible in the medical room, then we need to consult a doctor. The situations in which we need to consult a doctor are:-

• If the bleeding does not stop in any way.
• If the rate of infection increases excessively.
• If the pain in the injured area does not subside.
• If the fever in the body does not stop, we should consult a doctor immediately.
