Contest: Does radioactivity cause death?
Hello Steemit friends,
how are you all? I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah. I am also fine by the grace of Allah.Today, I will participate in the new contest from Healthy Steem brought by the Honorable Moderator @dexsyluz. The name of the Contest | “Contest: Does radioactivity cause death?". Thank you Hindwhale Community for bringing this beautiful contest to us.

✅Does radiation cause death? justify your answer |
---|
Radiation is a state of energy that refers to the emission and transmission of energy in the form of waves or particles through space or matter.
Yes, This radiation of energy is so dangerous that it can even cause death due to radiation. However, it depends on how much radiation is emitted and how much radiation enters our body.
If the radiation enters our body in high doses, the cellular functions, tissues, and organs of the body are seriously damaged. In this situation, death is inevitable.
If you stay a little far from the place of radiation and come in contact with radiation, even if you do not die immediately, you will be affected by various diseases.
✅If you were there 40 years ago, what would you want to change so that the Chernobyl accident would not happen? |
---|
∞🔸∞On April 26, 1986, reactor No. 4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine collapsed. The accident occurred due to a fatal error by the operators during safety checks at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant. The RBK-1000 of reactor No. 4 had a defect. The accident occurred while working on it. As a result of this accident, millions of people, animals, and the environment are under serious threat. Immediately, many people die and the environment is seriously threatened. In the long term, the area around Chornobyl became contaminated by radiation. People are affected by various complex diseases. Thyroid cancer is also affected by various diseases.

If I had been at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant 40 years ago, if I had been responsible for the maintenance of this Chornobyl power plant, I would have taken several steps to prevent such a terrible accident. The steps I would have taken are: -
The Chornobyl nuclear power plant employed relatively skilled manpower.
- I used to guard the nuclear power plant for 24 hours. I used to take even the smallest problem seriously and try to solve it.
- Starting from the design of the nuclear power plant, I did every work with great care.
- I would try to make sure that there were as few people as possible in the vicinity of nuclear power plants.
- Even if there is an accident in the nuclear power plant, I would create a safety zone so that the people staying inside and the surrounding people do not have any problems.
- I used to take special measures so that the radiation could not contaminate the surrounding area.
✅Nowadays, how are we exposed to radiation? |
---|
In today's modern age, we are exposed to radiation in many ways. For example:
Treatment method: -
Visiting hospitals for diagnosis and treatment of our disease X-ray, and CT scan. This treatment method exposes the patient to ionizing radiation. Although it plays an important role in correct treatment diagnosis, high radiation levels can create dangerous conditions.
Consumer Goods: -
Some of the items we use contain radioactivity, such as many watches that have radioactivity on their dials.
Again, we use mobile phones, televisions, and microwave ovens, which contain radiation. They can also cause radiation.
People in nuclear power stations are very close to radiation.
In this way, we are constantly living with radiation.

@edgargonzalez, thank you so much for your valuable support on my article. This support will help me to encourage me to improve my writing skills.
Hola amigo
saludos
