Kidneys
Good day friends
Kidney is important because they are two bean shaped organ, each size of a fist, they are just below the ribs cage, one on each side of your spine. Healthy kidney filter about a half cup of blood every minute, removing wasted and extral water to urine.the urine flow from the kidneys to the bladder through two thin tubes of muscle called ureters, one on each side of your bladder, your bladder store urine.
your kidneys, ureters and bladder are part of your urinary tract.each of your kidneys is made up of o million filtering unit called the glomerulus and tubular, the nephrons work through a two steps process the glomerulus filter your blood, and the tubular return needed substance to blood and remove waste.as blood flow into each nephrons it enters a cluster of tiny blood vessels the glomerulus.the thin walls of the glomerulus allowed small molecules, fluid, and waste mostly water to pass into the tubular.larger molecules, such as protein and blood cells stay in the blood vessels.
The function and structure: kidneys activate vitamin d by playing a role in vitamin d metabolism,in the proximal tubule the catalyst of 1a hydroxylase transform 25 hydroxy vitamin D into the active metabolism 1,25 hydroxy vitamin Also function through the process call blood pressure regulator, the kidney regulate arterial blood pressure by maintaining sodium homeostasis and through afferents sympathetically signal to the central nervous system.it work through removal of excess of fluid to those tiny tubes reabsorbed and return water nutrients and mineral, your blood need including sodium and potassium, the tubule remove waste, including excess acid and fluid through a process called diffusion.normally, when specialized cells in your kidneys detect low blood oxygen level, they increased the production of EPO,EPO then tell s the spongy tissue inside your bones to make more red blood cells.
It also control water balance each kidney microscopic filtering unit called nephrons, each nephrons is made of a kidney tubules and is responsible for the blood by removing urea , excess water and mineral ions, the rephron reabsorbed as much water as is needed by the body to maintain the water balance.

hey @saintpaul17 uh explained the kidney on role in keeping to our body healthy very clearly. I liked learning about how kidneys filter blood to regulating the blood pressure and balance water. wishing you the best of luck in the contest.
