Hello everyone, Hope you day went as planned, greetings to the amazing people of this wonderful Community. In today's edition of Health Dynamics, I will be writing on the "photo of the week"

Rice and stew is a nutritious meal that has so many health benefits. It's a two different meals which is eaten together. It is prepared with a variety of ingredients.

Health Benefits

Some of the health benefits of eating rice and stew includes.

Rice
  • Rice is a rich source of Carbohydrate which gives strength to the body.

  • It also helps in digestion and easy bowl movement.

  • It contains potassium and fiber which helps to reduce cholesterol.

Stew
  • Tomatoes is very rich in Vitamins, minerals which is good for the body.

  • Groundnut oil is a good source of fats and oil.

  • The meat used in the preparation is a great source of protein.

Ingredients for it's preparation

Rice
Fresh tomatoes
Processed tomatoes
Onions
Fresh pepper
Groundnut oil
Seasoning cubes
Curry Powder
Crayfish
Salt
Meat

Procedure for their preparation
Stew
  • Wash and slice the fresh tomatoes and set it aside.

  • Blend the fresh tomato and set it aside.

  • Wash, slice the onions and set it aside.

  • Add the groundnut oil to the pot, allow it to heat up, then add the sliced onions. Fry until it looks crystal.

  • Add the tomatoes

  • Fry the stew for a while, then add enough water to cook the stew to the pot.

  • Blend and add the crayfish to the pot. Allow it to cook for a while.
    Taste for salt then stir and turn off the heat.

Procedure for boiling the White rice
  • Wash the rice.

  • Parboil the rice.

  • Wash the rice after parboiling it.

  • Boil water enough to cook the rice.

  • Add the rice to the pot when it boils.

  • Keep checking the rice to know when it's tender and when the water dries up.

  • When the rice is okay to your taste, turn off the heat.

Your delicious rice and stew is ready.

You are right my friend, rice is a high source of carbohydrates while tomatoes is a source of vitamin. I also love your ingredients u used in cooking, i think i will love to try it. I wish you success in your entry
