Calcium Awareness For Our Body Health
Hello healthy steemians good to have you all here today how are you doing I hope all is well, as for me I'm doing perfectly fine, today I will be participating in a contest organize by @suboohi with the theme "Calcium Awareness For Our Body Health"
How Calcium Is Beneficial For Good Health.
Studies reveals that almost all the calcium in the human body are stored in the bones and teeth, which makes them to be well structured and hard in other to carry out their functions effectively
Calcium is very much needed in the body mainly because of our muscles to be able to move effectively and our nerves to be able to interact effectively and carry messages from the brain to other part of the body
Calcium is very beneficial in the body in the sense that it helps provide the body with;
Strong and healthy bones
Strong teeth
It helps in aiding muscle movements
Support healthy pregnancy
Helps reduce the risk of high blood pressure
Give Some Examples Of Calcium Rich Food?
The following are some good examples of food that are very rich in protein and they are;
Seeds
Cheese and cheese base dishes
Milk which may include skimmed, semi skimmed and soya
Fish which includes can ones
All of this and many more are a good example of food and dishes that are very rich in calcium which as we all know it is very much important and beneficial to the body as explained earlier.
Problems That May Cause By Deficiency Of Calcium?
Some of the various problems that may cause by deficiency of calcium in the body are;
Kidney disease
Vitamin D deficiency
Kidney diseases etc
Kidney Disease
When an individual has a problem with the parathyroid glands, as well as from diet, kidney disorders there's a high level of possibility that the body may develop a low calcium level.
Vitamin D Deficiency
As we all know that with the presence of vitamin D, the body is able to absorb calcium properly so a lack of this vitamin D in the body can certainly result into and cause low level of calcium in the blood.
Pancreatitis
This is the process whereby the body eliminates some calcium through sweat, urine and feaces, which is basically the interference which disturt the bodies ability to absorb calcium thus eliminate them through the previously mentioned processes which as a result of this causes Pancreatitis
The above are some of the minor causes of calcium deficiency in the body and amongst them are many others which are more severe and intense as compared to the above mentioned.

Calcium also plays a role in other bodily functions such as nerve transmission, muscle contraction, and blood clotting. It is needed for normal heart function and maintaining a regular heartbeat. Lack of calcium can lead to muscle cramps, irregular heartbeat, and tingling or numbness in the extremities. Ensuring sufficient calcium intake is therefore important for overall health and proper functioning of the body.
Best of luck in the contest
