I was privileged to meet my both grandparents and I saw how useful traditional medicine was to them . Going to hospital was last option for them unless on a critical health issues. It will interest you to know some of those ancient medicine their uses and functions.

In my country we have so many of ancient medicine that was and still in use till now. Like this leaf 🌿 (hospital is too far) has being saving life since our forefathers, it is used for the treatment of so many Ill health such as, anemia, high blood pressure, internal heat.
Whenever someone is complaining of shortage of blood this medicine is recommended and without going for check up in the hospital the positive results of taking this leaf will start manifesting. That's why it's named HOSPITAL IS TOO FAR.
It is also used for the treatment of internal heat,hence the leaf will be squeezed to remove the green water and it will be taken with preferred tin milk.
It is common in my country and it perform wonders. You can try it .

We are currently in the digital era, where sickness is no longer under assumption rather medical equipment will be used to determine the cause of the sickness. But I still have that opinion of using ancient medicine where needs may arise. There are some sickness that requires the use of ancient medicine to cure. If someone is faced with such it is better to meet those who are good at ancient medicine for healing.

White chalk known in my native language as NZU , Is an ancient element used for heat rash , cooling of the body and itching.
When a woman gives birth newly this white chalk is used to rub on her body for maintaining the body temperature.
During heat and dry season, this chalk is used on the body to control the itching and as well heal the rashes.
Scent leaf.
This element was and is still working to heal diseases.
- It is used for the treatment of pile .
- It is used for the treatment of stomach pain.
- It is used for detoxification of system.
- It is used for cooking.

My uncle suffered from swollen leg, he was taken to hospital for treatment he stayed there for two months and was finally booked for surgery, As God may have it one man walked in into my uncle's room and told him not to sign for the surgery that his father is good at curing swollen leg, After two days my uncle was discharged and was taken to the man that uses ancient medicine to heal diseases could you believe that the leg was healed after one month with surgery. That's to tell you that there are still active ancient medicine that are good.
Conclusion.
Don't ignore the use some of these ancient medicine, they have their own functions in our body system but don't abuse it. I will like to invite @eliany @pea07 @muzack1 @inspiracion and @chant
