What shall it profit a man to smoke his health to danger?

Even when it is written that smokers are liable to die young, people ignore it and go after the content. I think the best thing is to barn it for life.

What do you know about smoking? Have you ever seen someone smoke or heard about it?


Smoking is a dangerous substance that people inhale. Smoking is the actual way to commit suicide without dying.

I see people smoke every day; it is not new to me because where I live, it is like a culture. Not just for men; even women smoke. I wonder why people go to stores to buy a pack of cigarettes and refuse to see what is written on the pack.

Smoking kills gently; it might take years, weeks, or months, but the main thing is that it kills slowly, and before you can notice, the person is gone.

Smoking also makes people go mad, yes. I know a young boy around my street who used to be a barber, and all of a sudden, he started acting crazy. He would walk on the street almost necked, and that was how he roamed about the street till today. what smoking can cause.



Why do you think smoking is harmful to our health? What are some of the risks and dangers associated with smoking?

Smoking causes cancer, heart disease, lung disease, strokes, and tuberculosis. Every year, more than 480,000 people die in the U.S. due to tobacco-related diseases, and this is caused by smoking.

Smoking gives a person brown teeth. When you smoke often, it gives your teeth a brownish color instead of the white color that we all know. Most people who smoke generate mouth odor, and it is very bad because talking in public would be a disaster.

Smoking can cause blood clustering in the heart, therefore leading to sudden death. Smoking leaves a sting on people's bodies, whether you are the smoker or the inhaler.



Can you think of any reasons why people might start smoking, even though they know it's harmful?


Peers: Today's high school, a lot is happening that we don't know. Young boys and girls have gone beyond limits. A lot of innocent young ones have been drawn by their mates to join the club and become famous in school; they call it "the big boys and girls."

Family upbringing: Everyone has a family background, and there is a saying that goes, "Train a child in the way he should go, so that when he is old, he will not depart from it." Children learn very fast when they are tender, and they believe in whatever they see. They grow up with the mindset that everyone smokes, so it is normal.

Emotional crisis: This can make a person develop the habit of smoking. When we are depressed emotionally, we do a lot of crazy things, and a day begins a story. You taste it today, and tomorrow you want to taste it again. That is how it starts.



Do you know anyone who smokes? How does their smoking affect them and those around them?

Well, I have brothers who smoke, and I stay around them. Looking at them and their health, they are physically ok; I don't know about their health yet.

They look healthy and don't have smelly mouths. They take good care of themselves and eat healthy meals. They don't smoke in public; they only do it where they feel others won't be affected.

I know it might not be obvious to them now, but later it could be dangerous. I have tried the best I can to preach sermons, but they feel they know it all, so it is up to them to take the lead.



What are some strategies or ways we can encourage people to quit smoking or prevent others from starting?


To help someone stop smoking, the person must be willing to stop smoking; otherwise, all is to no avail. But if we must encourage smokers to stop,

  • It must be a self-made decision. This is the first step to helping. Ask them some certain questions sweetly and not harshly. Listen while the person talks. Do not try to stop them in the middle of a sentence.

  • Try to understand their trigger point. What arouses their hunger for smoke? Is it anger, music, porn, or any other thing? Finding out these things could help them stay away from smoking.

  • Distraction technique. You can decide to set up a distraction method whenever the urge to smoke comes. When they channel their minds and energy toward something else, it can help them forget smoking.



Conclusion


Smoking, as little and gentle as it is, kills gently. Quite smoking today and enjoy life. Sometimes I wish my brother could see reasons to stop smoking, but it's never too late. Ignorance is the biggest challenge for every human.
