What do you think about Obesity?

Obesity is a health issue that involves the accumulation of excess weight that makes a person physically unfit to perform certain tasks and to blend in effectively in social life. Obesity is very common now especially among the young between the ages of 15 and 35 due to unhealthy eating habits, ignorance and sedentary lifestyle. Many have become overweight in this age where many foods are unhealthy and were eating the unhealthy food is the trendy thing, Many young people eat unhealthy or junk food which increases the chances of obesity.

There is also the lure of the easy life which tends to make young people find alternatives to physical exercises and this alternatives are taking drugs and some physical preparation sincerely believing that this alternatives will help them tackle obesity. there are also people who are genetically predisposed to becoming obessed and these people tend to see it as fashionable and an erroneous belief that the fatter you get the more prosperous and well fed you look,that is being over weight is fashionable.

There is no way an obessed person can feel fulfilled as a person because it produces a lot of psychological defects which makes the person feel unwanted and abnormal in the midst of normal people. Sometimes other people around them gets used to them and don't stigmatize them but the build the inferiority complex that others are better than them.

Can you tell us 3 things that causes obesity?
  • Eating junk food : junk foods are foods are foods prepared in a hurry that contains a lot of fats and calories which are sold or made available to meet immediate need for food or foods prepared to meet emergency needs assuage momentary roaring appetite for instance a measure of fried peanut eating with a piece of hotdogs and donuts and washed down with a bottle of soft drinks , these food scenario I just created now seems very appetizing to a hungry person but the fact is that this food of taken continually over a period of time can led to a person being obessed because of the very high amount of fat and calory content. Fast foods, when it becomes an addiction produces a less health body which produces a body nurtured on highly inorganic food .
  • Eating in-between meals: eating in between is a great contributing factor to obesity because one eats food for eating sake and not because one is hungry. A healthy eating shows that one should eat when one is hungry and not eat because you have more food to spare. Eating should not be a habit but and activity aimed at providing vital nutrients to the body for vital life processes. Eating in between meals gives too much works to the digestive tract which in turn makes excess calories available in the body which the body stores overtime as fats which ultimately causes obesity.

  • Emotional imbalance: Emotional problems may cause obesity, they are many who when faced with difficult challenges develops emotional problems that causes them to each too much and in this case food is used as consolation and a cushion to soften the harsh effect of their predicament and conditions, food eaten in this way can cause obesity. This emotionally induced obesity may lead to serious depression and depression most of the time causes a person to endure into his own shell which further worsens an already bad feeding habit. Once again in this case feeding I'd no longer an activity but an unhealthy habit like a refuge one runs to in order to escape the harsh realities of life.

What are the best ways to prevent obesity?

We have several ways which can aid to the prevention of obesity and one of them is Daily Exercise and i think it is very important and should be done consistently as it will help burn fats in the body and also help prevent obesity. We should also be mindful of what and when to eat, we should abstain from foods that are high in fats and calories as it accumulates fat in our body.

We should also try our best to walk around as staying in particular place for along period of time can cause obesity. We should place ourselves on coffee and any other drinks that contains caffeine as it can also go a long way in reducing body weight.
