It is an amazing topic that will educate us and also give us more insight on how to manage and take good care of our health.

What do you understand by the word hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids is defined as a swollen or inflamed around the anus or the lower rectum, and another name for it is calledPiles. This is very common in both male and female and it's mostly affect people from the age of 50 years and above.
Hemorrhoids are just like varicose veins, hemorrhoids are of two types, Internal and External Hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids is very painful and it has affected millions of people around the world and about 20 persons in America is suffering from it.
Mention the main causes of Hemorrhoids
Lots of things causes hemorrhoids and these are common things that we humans do often without the having the full knowledge about it, though the healthcare professionals are not really certain about it, these are:
• Diarrhea: This alone can cause diarrhea, that's when you have a long term acute or chronic diarrhea.
• Diet: When we constantly eat low fibre food it will cause hemorrhoids in our system, that is why we have to be cautious of how and what we eat.
• Ageing: Like I said earlier that hemorrhoids affect people from the age of 50 years and above, though you g people are not excepted from it in some cases.
• Chronic constipation: This too is one of the causes of hemorrhoids, it's as a result of straining to move a stool hat will put additional pressure on the wall of the blood vessels.
• Pregnancy: Hemorrhoids occur to 35% of pregnant women, that is because of the increase in weight of the fetus and uterus that put pressure on the pelvis.
Can hemorrhoids be treated? Mention the ways and methods of treatment.
Yes, Hemorrhoids can be treated and these are the methods we can treat it.
• Topical medication (cream and ointment)
• Stay hydrated (Drinking more water)
• Sit bath (sitting in a warm water)
• Exercising at least 20 to 30minutes in a day
• Fibre supplements (eat banana)
What do hemorrhoids look like?
Hemorrhoids can only be seen after a successful surgery, and, that's the only means you can see how it looks like, though I don't have any image of it since I'm not a medical practitioner, but with the above image you will have an idea of how hemorrhoids looks like.
Does anyone in your family has this disease, if yes share your experiences.
There's no body in my family that has such a disease and there's no family history of hemorrhoids. Though I learned that hemorrhoids can be genetic and that your possibility of getting it depends on what you do all day.
