The pathetic condition of government hospitals compel us to use private hospitals and clinics. But also we face a lot of problems due to lack of professionalism.

What made it your worst hospital visit?

Last winter I went to one of the famous and expensive hospitals in my city with my aunt. The doctor suggested an ultrasound to identify the tumor in her underarm. We booked the appointment with that highly qualified doc a week before, because there was a rush of people. Last winter was very cold in my town and I wasn't well at that time, but I went to the hospital.

I thought because we booked the appointment a week ago, so this shouldn't be such a time-consuming process. We reached the hospital on time, and was shocked that the doc was more than an hour late.The temperature in the hospital was less than the bearable limit of a normal person because of the cold marble floor and metallic benches. After waiting two hours at least doc came, and I thought because we had the appointment no 2, so now it couldn't be late. But the doctor ordered his coffee and we waited for the next half an hour.

Then they called the patients which came later, staff gave the lame excuses that they were in a emergency cases. I was shivering in that cold corridor between those cold hearted people. After emergency patients doc went to met another doctor God knows for what? This is the level of professionalism of a highly qualified doc in a well-established hospital.

How were you treated by the hospital staff?

The staff was worse than the doctor himself. Every time I asked about our number, they told me just wait with patience. They seemed very expert liars. I don't know what is the reason behind the popularity of this hospital. This is like a corporate office with no sign of empathy.

How did you feel during and after the experience?

The hospital is famous for expert doctors and high technology used in treatment. Before visiting, I thought they were very rectitude .But someone told me about the arrogant behavior of the owner. I didn't pay much attention to this opinion, but after a single visit I was convinced that not only was the owner arrogant, but the staff also had no probity.And because the proprietor had a strong political influence,nobody can check them.
