Contest Alert! Importance Of Adequate Sleep
How are you? Hope so everyone would be safe and sound just like me as I am also safe Alhamdulillah....
Sleep is very important for all of us but it should not be more than a limit because if it would be more than excess limit then it would be dangerous and if it would be less than a limit then again it would be dangerous so I am thankful to @suboohi who organized this contest for letting us know about sleep importance.
We cannot generalize the adequate amount of sleep because proper amount of sleep varies from age to age. As a person become older than sleeping time reduces with the passage of time but I am 30 years old in my age so my sleeping time is 6-7 hours.
Here I am classifying different age groups and amount of sleep which is required to them.

In the above table I have described in detail that with the passage of time and by keeping in mind your age now you can understand that how much sleeping hours normally you have and are you taking enough sleep or not.

There are different problems that may be caused by lack of sleep and I am explaining them below;
This is a condition that happened due to lack of sleep and normal patient have problem at night time during sleep that a person may feel fear, terror state and sometime if a person is in a phase of sleep in which there is known rapid aye movement then patient also starts to walk during night.
This is caused by loss of sleep automatically due to the obstruction in the airways and it can be due to any reasons which can obstuct air passage.
Restless leg syndrome is a condition in which a person shake its legs normally while sitting in cross leg position and this is also give to improper amount of sleep.
Narcolepsy is a condition in which normally a person feel drowsiness and dizziness at morning timing and we have seen it many times like as I am a lecturer so I have seen that many students feel a lot of dizziness in class so we should relate these things medically rather than not taking them serious.

There are different problems that may be caused by excess of sleep that I am explaining below;
Obesity is defined as abnormal bulk at body that may be caused by excess fat so when you sleep more than your levels of hormones disturb so due to hormonal imbalances it make you obese.
Cardiovascular diseases risks also increase when you have a lot of sleep because your heart not function in a proper way as it functions when you get busy in activities of your life.
Diabetes risks also increase when you sleep more than normal range or more than normal time because your natural immunity of body goes down day by day when you sleep more than the requirement.
Risks of high blood pressure and stroke also increase because excess sleep increase fresh level in your body and it suppress your physical activity which in return makes you unhealthy and moves your life towards a unhealthy lifestyle.
