Hello good morning healthy steem family, it's another faithful day to strive towards achieving our goals. I'm very happy being, using this opportunity to participate on a contest Malnutrition in children organized and published by @suboohi.

Malnutrition is a global problem, but it is not equally distributed around the world. There are some areas where malnutrition is more common than others for instance, undernutrition can be more common in a low income countries while proper nutrition can be common in high income countries. Despite this, malnutrition can affect anyone, no matter where they live. poverty can make it difficult for people to access healthy food, it's more rampant this days. This contest is a nice topic that needs to be addressed.

What are the problems that children can face due to malnutrition?.

There are many problems that children faces as a result of malnutrition or malnourishment. One of the most serious problem is stunted growth. This happens when a child grow below his or her average of their height. Which leads to physical and cognitive development delays.

Other problems that can be caused by malnutrition are anemia, rickets and weak immune systems (as healthy study proves). Malnutrition also lead to misbehavious and emotional issues. And in most cases it even leads to death😥. Children who are malnourished are also more likely to drop out of school and may face social and economic challenges later in life.

Share the factors contributing to malnutrition?

One of the biggest factor that contributes in Malnutrition is poverty. Now, if families don't have enough money to buy nutritious food for their children, their children are more likely to be malnourished. also Food insecurity is another Big factor, because it can make it difficult for families to access nutritious food.

Conflict, natural disasters and other discomfort emergencies can also lead to malnutrition, as they can limit food supplies and make it difficult for people to get themselves the food they need. poor sanitation, lack of access to clean water, and inadequate healthcare is another factor that contributes to malnutrition.

How can we prevent a child from these issues?

There are many different ways to prevent a child from becoming malnutrition. One of the most important is to ensure that they have access to nutritious meals. It can be done either by promoting good breastfeeding till durable time, providing food supplements and ensuring that families have enough money to buy food.

It's also good and important to educate families about nutrition and teach them how to prepare healthy meals. it's very necessary to improve sanitation and access to clean water, so as to help prevent malnutrition related diseases, it's important to provide adequate healthcare most especially for children under the age of seven years.

suggestions to improve health care of children in developing countries?

There are different steps that can be taken to improve the healthcare of children in developing countries. It's important to ensure that there are enough healthcare workers, most especially in rural areas. Secondly, it's a good practice to provide training and education for healthcare workers, so they can provide high and good quality care for children.

It's also crucial to increase the availability of essential medicines especially those used to treat common childhood illnesses example paracetamol, tetracycline, vitamin c etc. It's important to improve access to clean water and sanitation so it can prevent many diseases like I said from the previous sub heading. It worth appreciation if as a team plan and promote immunization programs to protect children from preventable diseases.

In conclusion, malnutrition has a lot of health disadvantages such as stunted growth, anemia and week immune system. Avoiding malnutrition can be difficult especially if one fine himself if a poor family. Though it's advisable to also observe other aspect that may cause malnutrition, improving sanitation and making use of clean water can less how deep it affects.
