         INTRODUCTION

This is a very important topic that needs to be discussed and stressed out. And I want to thank @suboohi for bringing up this fantastic contest.

It is a well known fact that the body can survive longer without food than it can without sleep. It is known that the brain would eat itself if the body is denied sleep for a lot of days. Sleep is an important aspect of the human life.

Sleep is a time where the body rests, repairs body tissues, builds the human system and relaxes the human brain. I have felt headaches when I stay awake without sleeping for a long time and I just knew that sleeping has a lot of benefits to the human body.
When sleep is not gotten, it has effects on the body... When a person also sleeps excessively, it also affects the body negatively. It is advisable to sleep in moderation.


How much adequate amount of sleep is beneficial for good health.

Sleep is very beneficial for the body and it is advisable to have at least not less than 7 hours of sleep in a night. A person can also rest for 1-2 hours in the afternoon. Our body needs sleep after every day's work and stress. The body needs to rebuild and repair and the best time to do that is during a good sleep.

Problems that may cause by lack of sleep.

A lot of problems can be caused by lack of sleep, that it is important to get adequate sleep. Some of the problems caused by lack of sleep are:

  • Tiredness: When there is no adequate sleep, the body gets dizzy and tired. Lack of sleep will make the body weak and drowsy. It is important to get adequate sleep.

  • Sicknesses like high blood pressure, heart and kidney diseases are also associated with a lack of adequate sleep. Do you want a healthy body, then sleep adequately

  • In the long run, lack of adequate sleep can cause death. Staying without sleep for a long number of days is more dangerous than staying without food. Our body needs sleep to function properly.

  • Lack of sleep could also cause mental issues and affect the brain negatively. A leading effect is depression. Sleep adequately to avoid mental issues like depression and also to keep the brain healthy.

Just like lack of adequate sleep is concerning, excessive sleep could also mean a lot of things which are more concerning. There are also problems developed from excessive sleep which are;

  • Negatively affect the body health. Sleeping too much could mean that a person has a sleep disorder or probably a sickness that is weakening the body.

  • Excessive sleep could lead to heart diseases and also Obesity.

Everything in life should be done in moderation. Lack of sleep is not advisable likewise excessive sleep.
Try as much as possible to get adequate sleep so that the body will function well. Keep your brain healthy and don't also sleep excessively too.

Very good Entry in This contest I Read Your post You cover evry thing in very simple way and also mentioned the impact of not sleep properly a person face mental issue and nit work properly if they not take sleep properly
