SEC-S13/W4| "The Role of the Caregiver ♥️
Warm greetings to my steemit friends.
As humans, our body is made up of flesh and blood, and can easily be attacked by virus. As such, sometimes we fall sick which makes us weak and helpless. Due to that weakness, we need someone or people to take care of us before we gain our strength. In this article, I will be sharing with you the role of a caregiver using the questions below.
In my journey with life so far, I have experienced a situation where friends and family members found themselves in a helpless situation due to sickness or accident. During those times, they needed someone to care for them till they regained fitness. In most cases, I have played the role of a caregiver in their life.
For instance, there was a time when my grandfather fell from a tree and broke his leg. It was terrible as he became helpless. He could not walk, nor do anything on his own. During that time, I stayed with him for 6 months. I cook, bathe, go on errands, and even pack his shit (toilet) for him. The reason, he had no strength to do any of those things.
Showing care and love for one another is one of our responsibility as humans. No one is made to be a caregiver, and no one is made in a way that he or she can not care for the sick. As such, I think that when one of us finds himself or herself in a difficult situation, we all show love.
Nevertheless, if you happen to be the only person available to take care of the sick, embrace it and perform the responsibility. Remember, life is turned by turn. Tomorrow, it could be you on the sick bed.
The essential qualities that a caregiver should have are patience, humbleness, sympathy, and love. They are the qualities that will drive you to stay long and be able to take care of the sick with all due diligence. If you have no sympathy, you will never be able to care for the sick.
As mentioned earlier, life has no guarantee. Today you are taking care of the sick, tomorrow you could be the person on the sick bed. And you also do love to have someone to take care of you. As such, do it to others as you would love them to do unto you. Show the sick love, care, sympathy, empathy, and do not forget to have patience. Also, do not forget that whatever you do to someone today, someday someone will do it to you.

El amor por nuestros seres queridos es lo que nos lleva a ejercer el rol de cuidador, y lo hacemos con toda la buena disposición del mundo. En su caso, le tocó atender a su abuelo y lo hizo de la manera más responsable que pudo, ya que no era posible que su buen corazón lo dejara a la deriva, pasando trabajo. En esos casos, es bueno contar con un equipo que haga más ligero el trabajo, pero si no hay, debemos asumir la tarea solos. Éxitos, amigo.
Helping the aged and sick ones inturn brings blessings in our life . Just as you said in this post, what goes around, comes around. The love, care and attention we give to our loved ones will also be given to us in the future
