There are many serious diseases in the world that are very dangerous for people who suffer from them, but one of the most dangerous diseases in the world is Tuberculosis or commonly known as TB, this disease is also very popular because this disease has been experienced by many people in various countries in this part of the world.

Tuberculosis or commonly called TB is a disease caused by a potentially serious virus that affects the lungs. The bacteria that cause TB can also be transmitted when an infected person sneezes or coughs.

Tuberculosis also sometimes has no symptoms when someone has it, when symptoms do occur in people who suffer from tuberculosis, usually the person will experience coughing with blood spots, weight loss, sweating at night and also fever.

If you experience some of the symptoms that I mentioned above, you can immediately consult a doctor so that the disease can be treated quickly.

To treat TB, patients with active symptoms will require long-term treatment involving antibiotics, TB treatment itself takes 2 months for intensive and also requires 4 months of continuation phase.

However, I also often see people with TB coughing up blood.

TB is the second most dangerous infectious disease in the world after Covid-19, according to some information about the prevalence of TB that I read, in 2022 it is estimated that 10.6 million people in the world will be affected by TB.

In Indonesia itself, TB cases in 2023 reached 77%. The incidence of Tuberculosis itself reached 969,000 cases of TB in Indonesia. This is a very dangerous disease that can attack anyone at any time.

The prognosis for tuberculosis itself is generally very good if the patient is treated properly and correctly, but several factors can make the prognosis of tuberculosis worse such as childhood, old age, comorbidities and others.
