What do you understand about a balanced diet?
A balanced diet is a diet that includes various types of food in the right proportions to meet the nutritional needs of the body, can maintain health and can also prevent disease. A balanced diet does not mean that we limit certain types of food, but rather eating a variety of nutritious foods from all food groups in the right amounts.
The main components of a balanced diet are:
- carbohydrates
- protein
- fat
- vitamins and minerals
- fiber
- water
The effect of diet on overall health
The effect of diet on health is very large on our bodies, because most diseases all come from the wrong diet, and diet can also affect physical and mental health, this diet must of course always be considered so that our bodies remain healthy and well maintained, because every day we have to consume food to keep our bodies able to function smoothly.
A healthy diet is a diet that is rich in nutrients, can provide energy, maintain body function, and can help prevent various diseases, while a poor diet can cause digestive problems, weight gain, and can increase the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and some types of cancer.
What diet do you prefer for your health care? And why?
For now I don't need to diet because my current body condition can be said to be thin, and I also have a healthy body so that I can do various activities smoothly every day. I also like to consume healthy foods such as vegetables and fruits.
I also always keep my body from dehydration by drinking enough water, getting enough sleep and managing stress well, by doing some of the simple things above to keep my body healthy and fit.
Are there any diet suggestions based on your experience that are healthy?
I have never been on a diet, but a good and simple diet suggestion in my opinion is to fast and continue to consume healthy foods according to the proportions, you can also exercise just before you break your fast so that your body condition can become healthier.
I think fasting and exercising are the best diets, but they must still be adjusted to our health conditions so that the diet we do does not have a bad effect on our health.
