What are the main blood types and how do we know which blood type we have?
In every human body there is a blood type that is grouped into different parts because everyone has a different blood type.
Some blood types that have been grouped by medical experts are A+, B+, AB+, O+, A-, B-, AB-, and O-. And so that we can find out what type of blood type we have is by checking it at a doctor's laboratory that can check blood types, usually we can check blood types at the nearest General Hospital in our respective cities.
Why is it important to know our blood type?
The main reason that makes us able to find out what blood type we have is because we never know what will happen to us in the future, we could lose a lot of blood suddenly for various reasons.
Well, at that time we must immediately get new blood through the blood transfusion process, the blood that is put into our body through this process must have the same type as the blood that we have in our body, because if we receive a blood transfusion with a different type it will be dangerous for our body.
How does blood type affect our health and why is blood type important in medical care?
Each blood type has its own advantages and disadvantages, there are different types of blood types that make someone susceptible to certain diseases, but each blood type also has its own advantages, the most important thing is that we must always take good care of our bodies so that our blood is also always healthy.
And what makes blood type important in medical care is as I said above, when someone wants a blood transfusion, medical personnel must really know the patient's blood type so that the blood type that is put into the patient's body is the same.
Why are some people considered universal blood donors while others can only receive blood from a few people?
In the method of transfusion or blood donation there are two things that need to be considered, first universal recipient, namely blood type that can receive blood transfusions from various types of blood types such as blood type AB.
While the second universal donor is blood that can be donated to any blood type such as blood type O.
