What do you understand by bleeding gums?

When I was little I was scared when I felt blood suddenly coming out of my mouth, at first I thought it was blood coming out of my body that could kill me, but after asking the adults around me I finally found out that the blood that came out was blood from my gums.

After learning more about bleeding gums I finally found out that bleeding gums are also called Gingivitis, a condition of gum inflammation that can cause the gums to bleed.

Bleeding gums are also called gingivitis, gingivitis itself is caused by plaque that builds up and hardens on the gums so that it becomes tartar, this is the main cause of bleeding gums.

Write down some common causes of this

Well, the common cause of bleeding gums is brushing your teeth with a toothbrush that is too rough or brushing your teeth too roughly. To anticipate bleeding gums we can use a soft toothbrush and brush our teeth gently too.

Another common cause that can cause bleeding gums is a large vitamin C deficiency that affects the gums which will cause our gums to bleed.

How can we reduce it

One way to reduce the occurrence of bleeding gums is by maintaining oral health, brushing your teeth gently and correctly so that you use a toothbrush that has soft bristles.

We also have to keep the levels of vitamin C in our bodies stable to reduce the occurrence of bleeding gums.

Are there any natural treatment suggestions based on your experience that can reduce it?

To reduce the occurrence of bleeding gums, we can consume healthy foods that are high in vitamin C such as:

• Lean meat
• Green vegetables
• Oranges
• Apples
• Ginger
• Salmon
• And others.

Well, if we are experiencing bleeding gums, then we can also treat it by using salt water, because salt water itself is a natural remedy for bleeding gums.
