Blood is body fluid and it contain four components which are red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. The main function of blood is transportation of oxygen. It also perform many other important function like nutrients to tissues and lungs.
Blood is reddish fluid and it is pumped by heart to vein and arteries of our body. The red color of blood is due to hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is protein that Carries oxygen in our body.Red blood cells carry oxygen in body, White blood cell fight against germs that cause disease in our body, plasma is fluid portion and platelets are clotting cells.
Platelets help to stop bleeding. The blood with high partial pressure of oxygen is called oxygenated blood and blood with low partial pressure of oxygen is called deoxygenated. Oxygenated blood is bright red while deoxygenated blood is dark red red. Bright red blood is considered healthy blood.
Blood bring oxygen and nutrients to all body parts. Blood cells also fight against germs that cause disease in our body. It also carries waste products to lungs to be waste from our body. It also forming blood clots to prevent from blood loss.
Blood is very important for working of our body. Hemoglobin is very important protein that carry oxygen to all body parts. If we loose 40% of our blood, we will die. So, blood is very important for us.Blood is important for our brain, bones and muscle.
