👉 What's the first step to prevent infection when treating a wound? |
---|
There should be other ways which other people may know on how they can prevent infection when they are treating a wound, but here is my own way of preventing infection in a wound; by cleaning and disinfecting the wound and the surrounding of the wound area.
This process will help the wound to be safe from infection like bacteria etc, not just that but as well help it to get heal very fast.
There are also ways of keeping the wound clean and disinfected;
- By cleaning the wound with mild soap and water. Regularly use mild soap and sterile water to clean the surface area, at least three times a day
Disinfecting the wound with an antimicrobial agent. By so doing, it will keep the wound at a point of healing faster
Keeping the surface area of the wound dry. With the help of clean and dry towel, you can just dry up the wound if it drops water.
By so doing this, it will help to prevent infection like bacteria and other contaminants that can cause infection in our wound and keep it safe.
