THE DIARY GAME || 01-06-2024 || AN EXCITING DAY

Dear Diary,
On a cloudy morning of the 1st day of June 2024, I woke up around 6am and hurriedly visited my bathroom, then put on my training kit and jogged to the stadium.

Morning activities with Stayfit Group

Saturday morning workout is always the most special and intense training day among the rest of the other training days. It is so because the civil servants amongst us are always present thereby increasing our numbers.
@ngoenyi usually add more spice to this Saturday program so that desired results can be gotten by our members who are only present on Saturdays.

Today was no exception. We started off with cone program. I had to pick a cone, then move sideways about 3 steps, squat and drop it, then return and pick another cone. To complete a set is to drop 10 cones and return them successfully. After 3 Sets, I moved to the next program.

The next program involves holding the stepping board, lying in a plank position, and then moving your both feet close to the stepboard and sideways for 30 times. After the third set, I moved to the use of dumbbells.
In a setting position and a little folding of the legs, we are to lift the dumbbells up and down towards the chest level for 40 times and then Repeat for 3 Set.

We also did some plank programs. The first was staying in a plank position and moving only your knees towards the ground for 40 per Set and 3 set in total. Then we did the plank shoulder touch of 100 per set ( 3 set in total too).

While I was busy setting the pace and leading in the programs, @ngoenyi our instructor was busy tending to all members, making sure they were doing the right thing and making corrections where necessary.

It was fun through out as everyone was enjoying each program. At the end of all the program, we did some warm down exercises, took some group photos and I left.

Evening activities

After resting adequately from the morning workout, I took my family to the local market to buy things needed for soup while I went to a barber’s shop to cut my hair.

After My hair cut, I joined them in the market and fortunately for me, my wife was already done buying all that she wanted and we went back home together.

At home, my wife hurriedly prepared a local delicacy which we called Abacha in our dialect. It is primarily made from cassava. It is also called African salad because vegetables like cucumber, onion, pepper, utazi leave, garden egg, etc can be used to prepare it depending on what the consumer likes.

Lastly, I went to watch the UEFA Champions league finals between Borussia Dortmund Vs Real Madrid. The match ended 0:2 in favour of Real Madrid as they lifted the trophy for the 15th time.

I went back home, took my shower, then ate the delicious Okro soup prepared by my wife. I laid on the bed trying to post my diary but the network wasn't friendly till I fell asleep. When I woke up this morning, it was the first time on my mind. Thank God that the network allowed me this time. Smile 😊

This is the best diary game I've raed this morning FIFA. It's well arranged and readable, seriously you're learning so fast and i love the spirit. I missed yesterday's training due to the emergency i told you about.

Morning Exercises is always a great energy booster for the day. It's easier for me to carry on with other activities of day when I train in the morning
