Talking about ancient medicine many things became an alternative to traditional medicine in the past, even today the treatment is still used. The combination of beliefs and spices that come from nature is very abundant, a method of treatment that medically does have benefits and effects that are quite good. I do not know for sure about other countries around the world, but maybe the type of treatment a nation's ancestors might still be used as well.
In Indonesia, whose vast territory snapped wide many areas have ancestral or traditional medicine that is still used and believed to this day. Even many of them still use magical methods of treatment and combine them with the usurpation of nature, namely spices. Do not know if it has an effect or not, but this type of treatment is sometimes a medicine that provides healing.

In Indonesia there is an ancient treatment that is still carried out today, magical elements are still used and are believed to cure certain diseases suffered by someone. This type of treatment is called "Rajah" in Acehnese, a type of oral treatment or a kind of prayer used by a person who is considered an expert to his patients. Indeed, in practice, this type of tattoo treatment is often used as a treatment for sufferers of magical diseases that are difficult to understand in the advanced era as it is now, but still believed to exist.

Rajah can be classified as a type of treatment called Ruqiah in Islam whose type of treatment is based on belief in God with prayer readings in the Quran, this treatment can be medical or psychological diseases. Experts who do "Rajah" or can also be called Ruqiah are people who have been believed for generations to do this treatment, and almost most can indeed cure someone's disease, especially magical.

I guess there's a lot of belief regarding black magic in Indonesia? I have seen quite a few movies regarding this issue that you mentioned in the first question about treatment to magic issues. Ancient medicines are made from ingredients found in nature which were the only method of curing diseases in primitive man.
Ancient medicine refers to herbal ingredients that are naturally collected by humans. If the material collected naturally from herbal plants is used properly then our diseases are eradicated. I didn't know about this ruqiyah treatment in Indonesia but got some idea from your writing, it's like magic or spells were used along with medicine.
